Follow your bliss

The first time I came across this line was on Project Runway Season 1 when contestant Daniel Franco shared it during his five seconds of fame. I thought about it while reading this entry, and all of a sudden, that line made so much sense.

We have this natural inclination towards the happy, but for some reason, we somehow get ourselves stuck in a rut and end up the complete opposite of happy. I think that line is a great reminder for all of us so that we don’t stay in that rut forever. Why shouldn’t we be happy, right?

Of course, one consideration would be if what made us happy hurt other people or disappointed them, especially the ones we love. If that were the case, are we just fooling ourselves into thinking that we’re happy?

I guess that question ik have to ponder over some more.
