Trust (NaBloPoMo: Mnemonics)

Prompt: Do you trust your memory?

I used to when I was younger. I was a whiz at memorizing; I thought my excellent memory would last until my death. Having learned through science classes and internet research and poring over “coffee table” science books that this is next to impossible, my goal then was to make sure I could at least keep my brain healthy. It’s fortunate that I love puzzles and riddles and mysteries because solving these is said to keep brain functions optimal. Right now, my puzzle of choice is Sudoku, but I also do word puzzles (crossword, 7 Words, etc.).

No longer do I trust my memory a hundred percent, but I’m confident that my memory still works pretty well.
